This public-facing policy describes the principles that will govern the GRMS citizen experience. Detailed notices will be presented at the point of collection when authenticated services are introduced.
Data collection
GRMS is designed to collect only information necessary to identify a service concern, communicate with the submitting citizen, route the matter, and demonstrate accountable action. Public browsing does not require an account.
Data usage
Information may be used to process grievances, provide status updates, prevent misuse, meet legal obligations, improve public services, and produce aggregated service insights. Personal data is not sold.
Cookies
The platform may use essential session and security cookies to maintain safe operation. Optional analytics or preference technologies should be introduced only with an appropriate notice and consent model.
Security
GRMS applies least-privilege access, secure session configuration, input validation, auditability, protected storage, and controlled operational access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
User rights
Subject to applicable law and verification, citizens may request access, correction, restriction, or deletion of personal information, or raise a concern about its handling.
Contact
For privacy enquiries, contact support@grms.gov.in and include enough information for the team to understand your request without sending sensitive credentials.
